Volunteering Australia will be hosting the 23rd IAVE (International Association for Volunteer Effort) World Volunteer Conference at the Gold Coast from 15 – 20 September 2014.
There are two separate conferences being held as part of this event:
  1. The IAVE Youth Conference 15 – 17 September
  2. The World Volunteer Conference 17 – 20 September
Each of these conferences are held on separate dates, at separate venues and targeted at separate audiences.  This document outlines the key information about each conference with examples of promotional material attached.

About the Conference

The conference is a residential conference with registration fees including accommodation and conference attendance.
The IAVE Youth Conference will challenge, inform, energise and promote young people involved in volunteer effort. The Conference precedes the IAVE World Volunteer Conference and takes place on the Gold Coast, Queensland.
Opportunity for delegates to participate in volunteer activities with a host of organisations is a feature of the event. With a particular focus on social entrepreneurship, digital tools for changes, and volunteering as a pathway to employment, the IAVE Youth Conference will provide a platform for the youth of the world to exchange ideas, work together in a collaborative way, and ultimately redefine 21st century volunteering!
